Act 19 - Don't hold back the wonderful

Today’s act particularly appealed to me – leaving a note of encouragement in a random place for someone to find, or a book with a note attached to it.  I love writing notes – thank you notes, letters to friends - and so writing a note to a stranger wasn’t too daunting.  I also had a copy of the Good News Gospel of Luke ready to leave somewhere for someone with an encouraging note attached.  Both were left in random places whilst I was out and about today.  I hope that they brightened up the days of the people that found them.

Act 6 - Reach

 Today’s act encourages to think of our sphere of influence and to share a positive message of love, generosity or kindness with them.  For me, probably my biggest sphere of influence is with my family and I wanted to let them know how important they are to me and how much having the love of a close family means to me.  I shared a photo of my little girls demonstrating sisterly love with a quote by Eva Burrows: “In family life, love is the oil that eases friction, the cement that binds closer together and the music that brings harmony.”
